For the past few months I have been having therapy with @hopeaftertraumatherapyservices & it has been one of the best decisions I have made.
Through the years I have spoken to different people, but never found someone I can connect with & feel safe talking about my challenges, it’s so nice to finally have that.
Releasing & clearing through the hurt & pain of the past to help rewrite the story, let go of the negativity & get clarity of life’s challenges that have affected me.
Therapy is definitely a process & can be a roller coaster of emotions, there’s some days after my sessions I feel physically & emotionally drained.
In the UK I feel there is a bit of a stigma to having therapy, but the way I see it, is that I would MOT my car regularly why would I not MOT my mind.
Now that I’ve started, I know it’s something I will keep going with & would highly recommend it to anyone, past trauma or not , as it’s an amazing tool for the mind & body to keep us moving forward on our Health & Wellness Jouney.
